Welcome!
Don't you loved it when a card comes together just like planned? It doesn't seem to happen often in my world, so it's extra special when it does!
Last night was an extra special night for me - yeah! This CAS card was completed in about 30 minutes
I stamped a kraft card stock folded card with our almost new Background Branch using vintage green dye ink. I traced a rectangle around it using a pencil then cut out the inside of the rectangle using an exacto knife. I distressed the edges of the rectangle, and then colored in the leaves using a green marker. The Wishing You came from an Easter stamp that I cut off and stamped by itself.
One of the hardest choices I had to make was what color to put behind the leaves and I eventually decided on a midnight blue.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Wonderful, Sue! I love the out of the box (or window) treatment and green w/ blue is one of my fave combos.
Sheesh, what a cool idea! I love the clean look with the pop of blue in the background!
Love the cut out rectangle technique! Such a great idea and it looks awesome against the green! Nice job Sue!
