Lemonade in the Shade

Happy Hot, Hot, Hot Friday!

It seems almost the entire country is melting in a Heat Wave. Time for some cold lemonade in the shade! To me, anything citrus sounds so cool and refreshing. That and the A/C cranked up, lol. I don't know how folks in northern areas deal w/ the heat if they don't have A/C. Here in the south, it's a must have. If you've ever seen me melt in a puddle like the Wicked Witch of the West, you'd understand. It's not pretty! So settle back and grab a tall cold glass of lemonade and think of swimming pools and tropical beaches.

For my very citrus-y card, I stamped the fabulous Cool Summertime Greeting, die cut it and sponged a little yellow and orange ink w/ the die still in place. I used the terrific Citrus Background and a rainbow ink pad for the large yellow bg, then sponged the edges. The lemons and lemonade glass were die cut using a Cricut. Three buttons were added and a little stickles and the finished card is 5.5 x 4.25.
