If you haven't guessed, today's stamp is this terrific Giant Balloon image! And is it ever big!
Y'all had a little preview of it yesterday in Joni's card so you know you can fit a sentiment inside it. I didn't even realize I had used the same two stamps Joni used until after mine was finished, lol. For my card, it took me several (messy) attempts to get the balloon and side strip to look like I wanted. Somewhere in the process, I think I invented a new technique, lol. So I'm sure there will be a tutorial soon. I will tell you it involves dye reinkers and glossy c/s.
After I made the background w/ the reinkers, I stamped the balloon and cut it out. I stamped it again on the white c/s, stamped the greeting underneath and attached the tie dyed balloon on top. I added a few strips on the side, a die cut buckle and a little crimped strip thru the buckle. The finished card measures 4.25 x 6.25 (approx an A6).
Thanks so much for stopping by and good luck to you!
