For the Graduate

Happy day!
I don't even have a graduate. However, I know WAY too many this year! On my little street alone, we have 7 graduates! I had fun doing this card as I didn't do my usual school colors, but used the sentiment to help me create a nice scene. DRS Designs has some delightful new stamps and I used our great new Bright Graduation Greeting on vanilla paper and sponged sahara sand on it to match the sand on the main image. The main image-sea grass was stamped in noir black and then I used post-it notes to mask for the sun, water and sand. Onto the sky I sponged lovely lilac, pink and bayou blue. The sun was done in more mustard. The water is night of navy and then I lightly sponged around the edges with black. Lastly, I added some glitter pen high-lights to the grass. Papers used: soft suede, peri blue, apricot appeal, black, vanilla.
Come check out the new designs. There is something for everyone!
I hope everyone enjoys the holiday weekend and stay safe!
