Good Morning Everyone,
It's Karin posting today's card here at the blog. DRS Designs is the sponsor of the challenge at A Spoonful of Sugar where the theme is "Let's See Some Love" in honor of Valentine's Day. I decided to use one of our newest stamps Faith Open Heart, for the greeting on the front. Since it mentions keeping an open heart, I chose to pair it with the Filigree Heart that was a recent release from last month and made it into a 3-D element for the card. I stamped the heart 3 times in black ink and Versamark, and then embossed them using my heat gun and clear powder. After cutting them out, I folded them in half, glued them together and adhered the two sides to my card.
Here is a closer shot of the sentiment and the heart. The background was made using the Girl Swirl stamp.
