Christmas Whooo!
>> Monday, December 6, 2010
Has the hustle and bustle of the holidays started yet for you? We've been racing around trying to get the Thanksgiving decorations down and the Christmas decorations up. It won't be long before I'm heading out to shop for what on my gift giving list this year!
Unfortunately, the card I have to show you today wasn't made with DRS Designs new Holiday releases, but I'm sure you'll enjoy it as much as I did making it! To be honest, I made this quite a while ago--I was bound and determined to make the Santa Hat image (022B) fit on Oswald the Owl (132H). It took many, many tries using a Stamp-a-ma-jig to get it to look just right. I'm glad to say, he's finally dressed for the season, and is now the Christmas Whooo!!

Oswald and his Santa Hat were colored with Copic Markers, and the white parts of the hat glisten with a bit of Icicle Stickles! The background behind him was created by masking, then inking the background with light blue ink, and then stamping the Snow Background (187H) with a darker blue ink over top of it. Some red and white polka dot ribbon and a snowflake border puch embellished this card perfectly. I also added the One Line Merry Christmas sentiment (364B).
Thanks for stopping by today, we appreciate your visit!
Happy Holidays!
