Thanksgiving Already?

Welcome!

Can you believe next week is Thanksgiving??? I swear just yesterday I was making an Easter card!

My card today evolved, as many of my cards do lately, and the best part is that while messing around I actually discovered what I believe is a new easy background technique which I'll be posting a tutorial on soon!

For today however... poor Tom...

I started my card by stamping our Silhouette Fence on white cs using versamark ink and embossed it using white embossing powder. Using a crumpled paper towel I rubbed on green ink for grass and turquoise ink for sky, making sure I inked in between the fence. The fence did get covered with ink, but I was able to wipe it off using a damp Q-tip. Next I stamped a few Hay Bales here and there and also stamped a few extra on a separate piece of cs. I stamped our new Poultry Propaganda stamp on a piece of white cs and a scrap of yellow/gold cs. After coloring all with my Bic Mark It's I layered it like you see here, including adding a couple of hay bales using 1/8" pop dots for dimension.

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Thursday!
