Autumn Flowers

>> Friday, November 12, 2010

Hi Everyone!

It's Karin posting again today...Are you enjoying all the cards made with the new autumn stamps?  They are so great.  Some are funny, some are delightful and some are just down right beautiful.  Which is what this Autumn Flower Spray stamp is...I just love this bouquet of happy faced flowers and wheat!

Colored with Copics and Bic Mark-Its, it is so seasonal in the color scheme and running my scissors over the edges of my layering papers gave it a distressed quality.
Since the Abundance at Thanksgiving greeting was on the large side when paired with this bouquet, I chose to stamp it on vellum since it has a slight see-through quality.  I then layered it partially over the image.  Keeping with the distressed theme, I tore off the top of the vellum and once again used some twine as embellishment.

Thanks for visiting us here at the blog and I hope your Thanksgiving plans are in full swing!
