My Sister, My Friend!

My sister and I have a very close relationship--we talk several times every day and hang out together every weekend too. It's a good thing my husband likes my sister and enjoys her company as well! When I saw the Treasured Sister sentiment (F1142) in the DRS Designs Catalog, I just had to have it. It perfectly explains my relationship with her. Here's a card I made using this sentiment. The layout follows the Splitcoast sketch challenge SC288.
For the background, I stamped the Hearts Background stamp (H808) with SU! Lavender Lace. After stamping the sentiment, I inked light purple ink around it while it was still in the Nestie die to create the white frame around it. Each element of this sketch seemed to fall easily into place.
A layered paper flower and some green cardstock leaves were just the perfect touch and made this card complete.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

You are blessed. I wish I could spend as much time with my sister but distance keeps us apart.
