DRS Designs is sponsoring the final week of Tuesday Morning Sketches 'Christmas In July' Challenge. For this challenge you can choose any of their sketches from the last year and create a card using it. For full details, check out today's post on their blog.
For my card I chose to rotate and use Sketch #43 (shown at left). Instead of using paper and a scalloped border for the background, I stamped a scene of rolling hills and trees using DRS Designs' Triple Tree with Snow (L004) stamp.
I tied some burgandy lace around the front of the card and then the Spirit of Christmas Greeting (H706), which was stamped and matted with burgandy, was placed over it with dimensional foam. As a final touch I added three yellow gems in the upper right corner.Don't forget to check out the challenge post and play along - you could win some fabulous DRS Designs goodies!
