Sometimes You Just Need A Little Faith

One of the new stamps is this Silhouette Wheelchair image (G745)that I'm showing off today.  This image was heat embossed with copper Embossing Powder, and I've paired it with this Faith saying (F243) to create a card for someone who just had surgery.  Sometimes when people we love have surgery, a typical 'Get Well' card just doesn't fit, especially if they will be bed ridden for a while to recover.

I especially like this sentiment with this image becuase I think the hardships of surgery often get people down.  It's so frustrating to feel fine, yet be stuck in bed and not able to just "get up and go!"  This situation reminds me of the sayings "Good things come to those who wait" and "Time will heal."  Both sayings are so true of surgery.  Having faith is important in times like these--it's the light at the end of the tunnel that gives us hope.  Don't you agree?
