O Christmas Tree!

It's exactly one week until Christmas! Are you ready? I'm nowhere near ready and it seems like this year the days are moving at warp speed. Here's a cute little Christmas tree to get you in the mood to sing some Christmas carols.
For the Simple Decorated Tree (H010) I stamped it a bunch of times and cut the individual layers out and each one is raised above the one below. I colored it with markers and a water brush and attached it to a die cut oval. The oval has color sponged around the edge and I splattered the background with a paintbrush. The shiny ornaments were punched out of some red foil with a small hole punch.
The large background uses the same tree image stamped with a lighter green ink and I used a red marker to stamp just the star. The Tiny Merry Christmas (A21) was stamped and attached to tag I cut with a tag punch. I used a triangles border punch on the red strips because it reminded me of Christmas trees and I added some paper piercing above and below the center strip.
