Did you check out Sue's post yesterday? She made an awesome, simple holiday thank you card. Prior to checking out her post for the day, I was hard at work making my own holiday thank you! My card, although a little more involved and in non-tradtitional holiday colors conveys the same simple message...thank you...for your generosity, kindness, thoughtfulness or just being there during this special time of year!

I chose a simple sketch for my non-traditional holiday thank you. The base pink layer is pink shimmer paper...so yuumy!! I used my swiss dots embossing folder on my green panel. The new holly giga stamp made a perfect frame for the medium filigree snowflake (H1123). I considered adding jewels to the circles below the holly leaves, but instead I used my 1/16th in hole punch to punch out each hole. This scallop and the flake scallop are raised on pop dots. Some ribbon and a large frosted button, tied on with pink embroidery floss, completed the look. I cut my thank you out with the SU! word window punch. The "thank you" is actually part of this larger sentiment.
I hope you had a wonderful holiday and have some new toys or at least some time to stamp before the end of 2009! We have some changes in store for you in this upcoming new year...we hope you will stop by often.
See you soon...

Wow! Is this ever gorgeous! Stunning!
What a beautiful Thank You card! Love the non traditional colors.
Lovely! The combination of the border punch and the scallops make your focal piece look like a pretty doily!
