In just 15 days it will be Christmas Eve. There is just so much to do to prepare for the Holiday Season. One of them is sending off those much awaited Christmas Cards to family and friends. Well just in case you haven't sent those cards yet (yikes!!!!!!), here are 2 cards for you to get inspiration from.

This first card uses 3 DRS Designs stamps, Super Sweet Christmas Greeting, Triple Holly and the Holy Punch Giga Circle. The Super Sweet Christmas Greeting was stamped on white cs with Onyx Black Versafine Ink and then cut in a circle using a Coluzzle Circle. This was mounted on a green cs that was die cut using a scalloped circle die from Spellbinders. Then the Holly Punch Giga Circles was stamped on white cs using Garden Green ink from Stampin Up. Added some Candy Cane Stickles on each of the tiny circles. This piece was mounted onto a red cs that was die cut with another size of scallop circle die from Spellbinders. The Holly leaves were stamped 2x on white cs with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, colored with Copic markers and cut all around the edges. Punched the bells with holly leaves on the 4 corners on the white cs base, adhered double sided tape to the back of then and then carefully added some red, green and gold glitter to the punched images.
For the second card, I once more used 3 different stamps from DRS Designs. The Holly Hurricane was stamped 3x on white cs with Onyx Black Versafine Ink and colored with Prima pencils. Used some Gamsol to blend the colors in. Cut out the images in different sections and mounted them one on top of the other with double sided foam tape to form 3 different layers. Used some Clear UTEE on the hurricane lantern to give it the look of glass. The Large Stained Glass stamp was stamped on white cs and colored with Prima pencils and colored were blended with Gamsol. Added some Clear UTEE once more for this image. Used the Small Merry Christmas stamp for the sentiment.

I hope you all enjoy the upcoming Holiday Season.

Marisa, both of these cards are terrific, but that stained glass is fantastic! Such a simple idea to layer the hurricane image, but oh so effective.

Beautiful cards, Marisa! The holly is beautiful en masse in the first card and what a perfect idea to use the stained glass as a background for the gorgeous candle!!
