Goodbye to Summer?

Welcome! Can you believe summer is really over?? Thursday was our first long pants and sleeves day and it's really put me in the fall mood and got me thinking about curling up with a cup of hot cocoa! However, before I find time to relax I have another stamp show or two that will keep me on the move! This weekend you can come visit us at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds in Rhinebeck NY. Click here for more details!!

My card this week definitely reflects the coming of cold weather. What really amazed me was how far I "strayed" from my original idea. When I started I was using our Large Beer Mug stamp but like the plumber with leaky pipes, I haven't brought home all of our new release stamps lately and I found I really needed one. Rest assured you'll be seeing that card in the coming weeks! In the mean time, I went round and round until I came up with another beverage card (weird huh?)

Such a simple card too!

I stamped kraft cardstock with our Marshmallow Cocoa saying (H231) using brown dye ink and layered it on orange cardstock.

I stamped "Marty Marshmallow and Friends" (H423) on white cardstock and cut out the 2 full marshmallows.

Going back to my kraft layer I used raffia to wrap around several times and tied it in the center, then I added my cut out marshmallows and let them dangle.

I attached all to a folded chocolate brown card and was good to go!

Thanks for stopping by and please stop in and see us in Rhinebeck, NY if you're in the area!

Fun card and sweet, too! This would be the perfect attachment to a hot cocoa gift basket. Can you tell I'm already planning Christmas gifts??

OMGosh! Your card is so, so cute! I adore your marshmallows and the greeting used for a BG is so clever. (Now I think my cold is calling for some hot chocolate :)
