Stamps: Butterfly on Eggs, Easter sentiment. Cardstock: Textured Black, GP110 white, CM yellow. Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Versamark, Copics. Accessories: Wide green satin ribbon, white EP, Dazzling Diamonds glitter, purple glitter.

In my last DRS blog post, we covered the cute critters of Easter; this post is for the more elegant side of Easter greetings. For my first card, I used a black background to really make the vibrant colors pop and finished the card with this gorgeous ribbon. There's nothing quite like wide ribbon to up a card's class!

A close-up photo shows the glitter details on the butterfly and purple egg:

Coloring technique used both copics and SU markers since my current Copic collection doesn't contain quite enough purples yet:
The second card for today features both the Bible and sentiment embossed in gold:
Stamps: Holy Bible, Lily Corner, Easter sentiment. Cardstock: Textured Black, GP110 white. Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Versamark, Copics. Accessories: Gold EP, gold satin ribbon, thin white ribbon, Shimmerz 'Angel Wings', Stardust glitter pen.

The lilies are designed as a corner stamp, but by rotating the image it also forms a great border. I painted the lilies with Shimmerz and accented them with a Stardust pen:

**Don't forget to check out the DRS blog on Friday -- it's the first stop on our first ever blog hop! Not only will you see projects featuring the newest DRS Designs stamps, but there's also a chance to to win them!!
