Challenge #13 - Hand Stamped by....
>> Monday, January 26, 2009
You! Our next challenge to the DT was to use any of the DRS recognition stamps on their projects. DRS already had a ton and just released three more so there are plenty to choose from. Of course the intended use of these images is for the back of your cards/projects but what about thinking outside the box and using them in other ways?? Check below to see how our designers can inspire you to use these images in other ways (other than hiding on the back of your card!) so you can get more bang for your buck!!!
We would love for you to play along in our challenges. You do not need DRS images to play but if you have them, why not use them! If you play along, be sure to come back to this post and post a direct link to your project so we can check it out. We want you to inspire us! Also, if you upload to a public gallery, please use the keyword - DRSC13.
We're having another giveaway!!! We'll make it easier for you this week though!!! This week the prize is a roll of the best adhesive I have ever used!!!
It is a roll of two sided tape (1/2" x 36 yards) and all you have to do is leave a comment on this post indicating which DRS image is your favorite! We'll draw a random winner on Sunday night Feb. 8, 2009.
We'd also like to wish several of our designers good luck as they move on to other projects at the end of this month. We appreciate and thank them for all their hard work and awesome contributions during their design term and expect to see their names again and again as we cross paths in the stamping/paper crafting world! Best wishes for a successful future to Angel, Etha, Janette and Jessica K.

Awesome projects everyone!
WOW! You really thought outside the box. What fantastic inspirations!
So many ways I never thought to use these 'hand stamped' images -- great job, Ladies!
These are all really great. I love seeing how everyone used the stamps!
What great ideas everybody!! this was fun! But Dawn's hand stamped made me laugh out loud, how incredibly funny and creative :) just love it!
these are beautiful ladies!! I love all the creative ideas. Sorry not to be able to play along this week but my sprained ankle really put a damper on my stamping this week. I did very little and most of what I did do was mostly pre-done and just needing a little finishing.
How do you pick a favorite? They are all great ideas! This is a great challenge - love seeing new ways to use things :)

I love them all and would have a really hard time picking a favorite! They are just awesome.
Wow! Very creative ideas! It looks like fun, so I’ll have to give this a try.
I received my very first DRS catalog in the mail on Saturday – yay! As for my favorite DRS stamp – for now, I have to say it’s the ribbon slider stamps! Those things are just too much fun! ~ Tina Tacker
Well, my favorite are the verticle wording stamps. I think I could come up with a bunch of uses for them. Really neat!
Wonderful creations girls!! I really love everyone's creative use of the "handstamped by" images...this was hard!! :)
Nice Job Ladies! I'm always surprised by what everyone comes up with - most impressive!
Ooh, Love the idea with the actual "hand" stamped and Jessica G's pretty simply layered card with tags (what papercrafter couldn't use those?), but I have to say Angel's really caught my eye. Great job incorporating the stamped by as a focal point and the balloons really balance it out well, too. Beautiful job, girls!
WoW this is some major MOJO! I just love all the projects and they are all so inspiring.
love 'em all!! always such a great variety!!! i'll miss posting w/ everyone but you KNOW i'll still peek in and say hi and check out everyone's work!!!! hugs!!!
I like all the hand stamped items, so cute and what fantastic ideas. I love the tape that you have and can't wait until your next visit to Akron. Hope I win the tape because I am out of it until April when I see you. That tape is awesome.

Wow - I just found out about DRS Designs through There She Goes. I've added you to my favorites. I also spent some time browsing through your catalog and love your Amish stamps. I think my favorite so far is the Amish boy and girl or the Amish picnic... it's so hard to pick! LOL
Hard to pick a favorite they are all awesome!
They are all incredibly awesome. I don't think I could choose a favorite (unless I had to for a prize or something!). LOL
What awesome projects.
I would have to pick L407 the bunny in the garden. Too cute.
I just joined the Rubber Mania and look forward to getting the catalog.

I don't have any one favorite DRS Designs stamp, I have many. All the words/greetings stamps are my favorites. I use them over and over. They seem to cover every occasion! Keep up the great work on bringing out new word stamps.

Love all of the projects lately...Dawn's really was funny! My favorite image from DRS is still the stacked lady bugs! I'm a sucker for lady bugs!
Great Cards everyone! SharriC
My favorite stamp would have to be the little penquin. I love the sample that is shown with him.
