Sympathy Thanks

Happy Friday!
I hope your week has gone well! Can you believe it's almost May? This year is really zipping by! Wont' be long until school is out & summer vacations begin.

The wonderful new DRS Designs releases this month are in the Sympathy category & sympathy cards are never easy & sympathy thanks can be harder still. My card today deals with just that topic. I kept it on the CAS side & used monochromatic colors. I masked off the die cut blue/grey panel & stamped the Woodgrain Bg across the top 2/3 w/ the weathered wood ink & added just a little gray in between areas. The greeting was stamped below in the majestic blue ink then I added the die cut tree & birds & a dividing strip w/ a little Candi dot.
Here's a look at the inside.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend!
Supplies:
stamps: DRS Designs - Sympathy Thanks, Woodgrain Bg (inside - Friendship Doubles)
ink: Distress ink weathered wood, Versafine majestic blue
paper: Staples 110# white, blue/grey
accessories: stitched rectangles & long rectangles dies, tree die, birds die, C4 cool grey Copic marker, Candi dot

Super peaceful. Love that you did it all in blues and kept it muted and soft. Perfect dies for these sentiments. Lovely work, Julie. Hugz
