Merry Christmas To All...

>> Saturday, November 26, 2016

Good morning!
I have a couple of Santa cards for you today.
This first one uses the new release Santa and Puppy Christmas Scene 1041P.
I've also used the Open Plaid 631P and 1 line Merry Christmas 364B
Of course the plaid stamp makes a great candy cane strip as well when you use it just one direction. The tinsel has silver Stickles and Santa's fur has a small amount of Liquid Applique (heated to puff). I added red pearls to the corners to finish this card.

My next card uses a die cut for Santa but I think he is so cute flying over these new release Christmas RoofTops 1042H
I also used Branch Silhouette background 363H for the "wallpaper" and Merry Christmas To All 618E (just using the top portion of the stamp, you can use the bottom portion inside the card as it says "especially you").  The Splatter background 855H is used with white embossing powder and embossed for snow. I punched a 1" white circle for the moon and added some shading with gray then added Wink of Stella to make it shine.  The rooftops have Stickles for glistening snow.
I just cut out some curtains and window box (topper) freehand and then tied cord for tiebacks. I added a wider seal at the bottom of the window as well.
That's ll folks!
I hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving here in the states and I hope everyone everywhere has a nice weekend!
Thanks for visiting today!

Robin, these are so great! On the Santa card, your coloring and tones are perfect and it is a heartwarming card, but I totally fell in love with that second card. That die works so well and your window scene is amazing. Captures the magical feel of a child's dream of Christmas. So well done. Hugz
