Happy Easter

>> Tuesday, February 23, 2016

 Hi Everyone,

We experienced some gorgeous spring time weather over the weekend, and that put me right in the mood for Easter.  I even bought my first bag of jelly beans :)  I always get my candy early, because I don't want the store to run out.  But what that really means is that I get to eat that first bag!

I chose the darling little Cute Bunny with Egg and colored and die cut the stamped image, adding some glitter glue to the bunny's tail.  I picked my card colors from my image, so I colored my Jelly Bean Jumble Background using the same Copic markers and stamped the pink half of the background using the

I covered up the seam where my background papers met, with a scrap of matching patterned ribbon and added the One Line Happy Easter Greeting.  I stamped each word separately and then used a punch to make it fit the card itself.

Thanks for peeking in today and here's hoping spring really is, just around the corner!

Karin, I love how you did the different images for the bg - so fun and so festive! The bunny on the oval and the fun ribbon really finish this off so nicely. Captures the fun of Easter bunnies, and Easter colors, and EASTER CANDY (I have been eyeing some candy at Cracker Barrel - they have the coolest candies for Easter - lol). Great card, Hugz
