Silver and White Christmas Tag

>> Wednesday, December 16, 2015

If you have time today, you can still join us in the Silver and Gold Challenge.  I had some scraps left over from the card I did in the challenge so I made a tag from them.  Tags are so popular these days, and they dress up any present.

I used the new Custom Christmas Village Custom Name Sign and part of the Christmas Especially to You Greeting.   DRS Designs can customize this village sign for you with your last name or any other name you want on it.  For my custom sign, I asked for the name of our Farm.

I used a piece of corrugated cardboard and pulled off the top layer.  I painted that with white acrylic paint, but I left some of the edge unpainted.  I had piece of a die cut left (from SU!) and I cut off the horse and used the leftover sled in the sky to hint that Santa is flying off.  We have one horse on our little tiny farm (4 if you count all the horses that come visit from next door - lol) so this tag is accurate.  I added some silver glitter to mimic snow since my tag was already really white.

I am going to use this tag on my Mother's present - she will love it as she named the farm and loves stamps.

Hope your holiday preparations are going well.
