Happy Halloween

>> Monday, September 1, 2014

Happy Labor Day to those of you who live in the states. Today is a holiday here and both my husband and I have the day off. Instead of relaxing and having a cookout like most people do, we are attempting to remove wall paper from the master bath. Oh, how I hate wall paper!! We tried using the usual methods of removal, but to no avail! Today we are using steam. A friend guaranteed this would work. We shall see!

Before tackling the wall paper, I thought I'd share a card I created using the new Raven image (125G). Isn't he rather spooky looking? He does give me an eerie feeling. I paired him with the Peculiar pumpkin patch and added the Happy Halloween arc greeting. Hope you like it.

I stamped the two main images in Memento Black ink on white CS, colored with Copics, then masked them to sponge in the sky, stamped the accent bats, stamped the easy grass background and sponged in the ground. This is layered on orange CS. The greeting was stamped in black ink on white and die cut with two oval dies, then attached to the main image panel with glue dots. Some green and orange gems were added to the upper corners.

This card goes right along with this week's challenge "It Gives Me the Creeps!" You can see details here. We'd love to have you join the fun!

Thanks for stopping by today,
shelia
