Happy Friday!
Have y'all recovered from the 4th of July celebrations? I'm thinking maybe they should just roll right on through the weekend, lol. Nothing like a summer barbeque and fireworks. Fireworks were kind of iffy here.  We've had a LOT of rain lately and more is in the forecast. It's also crazy cool. I mean, mid-upper 70's in July? In Atlanta??? It's true! Can't call us Hotlanta this time around.

When it gets close to Independence Day, I know I'm going to need a birthday card. My sis' birthday is July 3rd and since it's always fireworks and parades the next day, I'm sure when we were growing up she probably thought it was all for her! On my card, I used the super cute Cutie Pie Kid. After coloring her w/ Copics, I die cut her and attached her to a slightly larger white panel. To add some color and pattern, I stamped the Framed Balloon Postage three times, colored them and cut them out (this will look great on the envelope, too!). The Single Balloon Postage seemed perfect to put the sentiment inside. The finished card is 4.25 x 5.50.

And these are the Copics I used to color everything.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great holiday weekend!

paper: Neenah white
ink: Memento tuxedo black
accessories: Spellbinders long rectangles die, Copic markers
