Thanksgiving Apples

Happy Friday!
Are y'all getting ready for the new releases! Hopefully, tomorrow, but with Frankenstorm, things could be a little delayed. For my CAS (clean & simple) card today, I 'm using 2 of the new images. I just love this image of apples and the font is so elegant on the  sentiment.

The apples were stamped once on white and again on vanilla. I colored both with a combination of copics and tombows, then cut out the middle two apples (from the white version) and attached them on top of the vanilla base (I wanted the inside of the cut apple a little paler than the vanilla). I die cut the base and the green layer behind it and added a few hand cut fishtail banners for interest. The greeting was stamped on the front of my 5.50 x 4.25 vanilla card.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

Supplies:
stamps: Apples, Thanksgiving Blessing (both new, coming soon!)
paper: white, vanilla, pine green, small strips of kraft & red
ink: Ancient Page coal, Archival library green
accessories: Copic & Tombow markers, Spellbinders resplendent rectangles dies

I smile at what you consider a CAS card :) Your colors and coloring are wonderful and I love all the little details - the banner tails and the piercing and the layering...
