The Witch is ALWAYS In!

Happy Friday!
Just a few more days until Trick or Treating begins! I'm so ready! I love Halloween w/ the fun costumes and cute little kiddos. I used to answer the door in full costume but the witch outfit I had one year scared a really cute little girl, so I had to put it away. The next year I had a pirate outfit and I sewed a stuffed parrot to one shoulder. My real parrot got very upset and he attacked it. So I had to put it away, too. One year I was a saloon girl and I had a really big feather headdress on and I had to open the sunroof to get home, lol. On the way, I passed Tonto and the Lone Ranger on horseback. How cool is that?
I needed a couple more quick Halloween cards and I had this new die that cuts these really cute witch legs and hat. Just perfect for the Witch is In greeting. Since I thought it looked cute to have her standing there w/ her legs crossed, I needed a skirt for her. The new Icicles image to the rescue! I think they make the perfect ragged skirt. For the black "slip" underneath, I used pinking shears and a pair of fringing scissors (the have multiple blades).

On the second card, I used a different layout and since I had to cut one witch out of orange and another out of black, I used the opposite colors. I also added a spider web and a little different treatment for the sentiment.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a Spooky Halloween!

Cute Halloween cards. I really like how you used the icicles stamp for her skirt! Way clever of you!!

VERY clever!! I love how you got 2 for 1 too! I can see so much attitude in the crossed legs!

I've always believed a Halloween costume should be comfortable. My favorite? I made a cell phone out of a couple of foldable net laundry carriers from the dollar store. I just slip it on over black sweats!
