I used the footsteps in the snow image from the recent release. Stay tuned because soon you will start seeing images from the upcoming release!!! Yup, every 4-6 weeks DRS releases brand spanking new images!! I thought the yellow ribbon and simple sentiment conveyed the point of the card. It just goes to show you that you don't need alot of fancy embellishments and "schtuff" to make a great card! ;)

Valentine... You LIGHT Up My Life!!!

Dawn Knight
OK... So I was in the big box craft store and I noticed in the $1 section this darling lantern.I thought about all of the teacher gifties that I need to make for my daughters teachers for Valentine's Day and decided to dress it up. Let me tell you... it got a WHOLE lot cuter with the addition of this awesome DRS DESIGNS easy background stamp. And the best part??? This took like 20 minutes START TO FINISH to make!!! Here is what I did...
I stamped and embossed the heart background stamp on the vellum card stock and used light pink embossing powder. White would be pretty too. Then I cut the vellum to size and added it OVER the glass panels that were already in this little lantern. Then I used Scor-tape around the top and the bottom to add the ribbon. I got out my super handy BOW EASY gadget and tied this perfect multi-loop bow and adhered it with a glue dot. I tied all kinds of ribbon on the handle and I put a battery operated tea light in the bottom of the lantern. (safety first!) and here is my project. Super quick and EASY and a great way to let someone know that they light up YOUR life! Thanks for stopping by...

Sunshine and Daffodils!

>> Friday, January 29, 2010

Posted By Jennifer E.

I'm trying to win over the cold Winter temps by thinking "Spring" in my stamp room!  I created this Sunshine card just the other day as the snow was coming down.  Working with these fun colors cheered me right up!  I am so ready to see the Sunshine of Spring!

Both the image and sentiment are by DRS Designs.  The Daffodil with Frame (P104) image was colored with Copic markers.  The word "Sunshine" came from the "You Are My Sunshine" (D1089) Sentiment.  I thought the yellow background behind the daffodils resembled the sun and thought "Sunshine" was an appropriate sentiment.  Plus, I really enjoy splitting up my sentiments and making them my own!  DRS Designs unmounted stamps make this so easy!

Make sure to check out all of DRS Designs Floral Designs as well as their Easter collection and get started on your Spring cards today! I know you'll find something you love!

Have a wonderful Friday, and thanks for stopping by today!

Smiles,
Jennifer

It's a Jungle!

>> Thursday, January 28, 2010

by Julie Warner - The Write Stuff

A lot of days it IS a jungle out there! But since I live with 2 parrots who love to watch cartoons and Animal Planet, it's a lot like a jungle in my house every day, lol. Just don't tell them about the lion. They tend to freak when they see cats or hawks. I think maybe the parrots are afraid they look like lunch to those guys.

For my fun little jungle scene, I'm using a DRS image Jimbo and the Gang (P891). After stamping and coloring with markers and a water brush, I cut it out. It's attached to a background I made by running a piece of white card stock thru my embossing machine with a piece of plastic canvas. After embossing the pattern, I sponged on the lt blue ink. On the rust and fern layers, I used the Lot of Lines background(H366) and coordinating ink colors. I moved the image and layers over to the left to leave room to stamp the It's a jungle out there (D908) down the side.

Thank so much for stopping by!

Button Hearts & Love!

By Debbie Seyer - A Peek Into My Stamping Room

Sometimes I have trouble getting the creative juices flowing and yesterday was one of those days. So when that happens to me, I usually try to find a challenge that will give me a starting point. On Splitcoaststampers, I found the Learn a New Technique Challenge and boy, did it inspire me!! The new technique to try is called "Side Stepping". This is a unique version of the stair step card and you can find the challenge including directions HERE on Splitcoaststampers.

For the sentiment, I used a beautiful sentiment from DRS called Changing Love Greeting (H574). I stamped it first using brown ink onto shimmery white cardstock and then positioned my die and cut/embossed. Then using the stamping off technique, I stamped the Heart & Scrolls (G271) as a background. I also stamped the Heart & Scrolls 2 more times and cut out just the big hearts to use as accents to this wonderful sentiment! I added some dies, buttons, a charm and ribbon to finish everything off. I think this makes a truly unique Anniversary Card. It could be costly to mail BUT hand-delivered is okay, don't you think? Hope you have a great week!

Don't forget you only have a few more days to purchase any of the Retiring Designs. Be sure to check it out so you don't miss anything!

Warmest Wishes

It's January and looks pretty much like this scene here at my house. I'm really looking forward to some warm weather! In the mean time I'll just send "Warmest Wishes" out to my friends hoping they are enjoying the snow more than I am right now! This card uses the new release "Bootprints in the Snow" as the main image and the sentiment "Warmest Wishes". The blue background was stamped with Vicki's Versatile Background - love the look it adds to colored paper!

I don't know about you but I love snowmen!! DRS introduced a fun new image a few weeks ago...and here it is!!!

I drew in the sides of his face...and then paper pieced his scarf. This is a great image to cut apart of you use unmounted rubber to give yourself so many possibilities with this stamp. I recently saw a card that used a white punch oout border on white and loved the look so I thought I would try it here. The ribbon is American Crafts...I added a clear SU! button.

In this photo...

you can see how the image stamps in the initial stamping and then I showed some facial shape possibilities!!! Now we know why I don't draw images!! LOL Anyway, I made a normal shaped head, a chubby head and a somewhat skinny head.

I LOVE Birthdays and I LOVE LOVE LOVE Bling! So what could be better than a COMBO of 2 of my faves??? Then I cut out the candles. I cut the flames out after I colored them with copic markers. I adhered the candles to a card and Then I added the flames later. I drew the wick to connect the flame to the candle. then I used my FAVE stickles to the tops of the candles for glitz and bling!!! I added the sentiment and here is my fun and BLINGY card! Enjoy!!!

Joy Fold Love!

>> Friday, January 22, 2010

Posted By Jennifer E.

Back in December I received a Christmas Card from a friend that had such a unique opening, I knew right away that I wanted to give this card style a try.  I now know that the card she made was a Joy Fold Card after doing a bit of research on Splitcoaststampers.   For today's project, I've used this technique to create my own Valentine.  I love how fun and easy this was, and it's such a neat twist on the regular A2 size card.

The two stamps I used to decorate this card are by DRS Designs.  The Love is Patient sentiment (H201) is the focal point on the smaller front flap of the card.  I used a small heart brad to fill the empty space at the end of the quote. The larger front flap was decorated with the Interlocking Heart Background (H808) stamped in black.  I used it again on the inside, stamping it in red on white cardstock, and also stamped the word "Love" from the quote on the front, in the empty spaces between the hearts.

The best thing about this card is that it measures 5" x 4.25," so it will still fit in the regular A2 size envelopes you already have on hand.

I left the inside blank, for a personal message, but DRS Designs script "Happy Valentine's Day!" (F357) sentiment would have been perfect!

Have you tried the Joy Fold technique yet? Spice up your card style and give this one a try.  I promise you'll love it!

Smiles,
Jennifer

Cowboy Snowman & a Window View

>> Thursday, January 21, 2010

by Julie Warner- The Write Stuff
Even though it's still winter, it warmed up here in the south this week. So I thought I'd better show you these before all the snow melts. For this one I stamped the Cowboy Snowman (L178), masked him and sponged in the clouds. I used markers to color the scene and added glitter glue to the trees and snow. I used a die to cut the oval in the frame, sponged the edges and added the Interlocking Snowflakes (H015) on the frame and the background. The sentiment was embossed using a birthday embossing folder on some metallic cardstock and I cut out just the one word and attached it to a blue layer. A couple of die cut red snowflakes were added to the upper corner.

I'm showing you a couple of views of the Window View so hopefully you'll be able to see that the front of the card is a window cut out and the scene is actually on the inside of the card. I used a template to cut out the window and stamped a curtain/wallcovering for the front using the Open Plaid (P631) and Lg Original Plaid (P641) and a blue rainbow ink pad and I sponged on more blue ink to blend it together. I used a scallop rectangle die to cut the valance and added a white lacy band I cut using a border punch.

On the inside, I stamped the Bootprints in the Snow (M150) and the Pine Tree Edger (P481), masked them and sponged in the clouds. I used markers to add a little shading to the snow.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you enjoy the view!

I {Heart} Hearts... especially on this Valentine Flower!

>> Wednesday, January 20, 2010

I purchased my first DRS stamps a year ago and I believe this is the first card I made. I love this image! I love how clean and simple this card is yet it really pops! You can find this beautiful Valentine Heart (K582) image here on the DRS web site.

I used Copic markers, SU heart punch, and riding hood red CS & taffeta ribbon. You can find more information about this card from a year ago on my blog here.

Next is a stepped up card... definitely not CAS. LOL!

This year I was following a recipe for a New Year's Eve challenge on SCS. You can find out more about it here on my blog.

Supplies used include: satin ribbon, white gel pen, rhinestone stickers, SU scallop edge punch & Top Note die cut and Copic markers. This card also includes DRS stamp Easy Grass Background (E059).

This third card was made yesterday for the SCS color challenge: ruby red, soft suede, & bashful blue. I couldn't find any ruby red in my stash, so I used what was close... the retired riding hood red. I wasn't really sure if I'd like these colors together, but I think it turned out alright. I used the Valentine Flower again, but this time I wanted just the blossom. This card also uses the new verse stamp, Love is Patient (H201). Other materials include taffeta ribbon, SU scallop edge punch, and SU designer paper. The verse is hard to see. You can click on any photo to see a larger image.

And here's one last view of some of the details on the 2nd card I posted. Thank you for stopping by!

The Tall & Short of Cards!

>> Tuesday, January 19, 2010

by Debbie Seyer - A Peek Into My Stamping Room

What size card do you usually make? The A-2 size - 5 1/4 x 4 1/2" or maybe a square card - 5 1/4 x 5 1/4"? How about a tall card? One that will fit into a business sized envelope - 9" x 4". Or maybe a card that's the shape of your favorite die template? Here are a couple of cards I made that are non-traditional sized cards!

This is a tall card measuring 4" x 9". Just cut a piece of cardstock to 8" x 9" and fold in half. Fits in a business envelope pretty good! For this card, I stamped the Interlocking Hearts Background(H808) in Versamark. This makes a lovely, subtle background. Then I stamped the new release Valentine Flower Heart (M186) in black ink. I colored the image using my Copic markers and added some sparkle using some Crystal Stickles. I carefully cut the image out and mounted it onto a Renaissance Hearts Pendant. I added some ribbon to the card and its all done! Plenty of room inside to write just what your feeling for your Valentine!

Here is a much smaller card. Using a Labels 1 Nestabilities(tm) as the base of my card, I stamped the Valentine Flower Heart (M186) and used Crystal Stickles to color in the flowers and a marker for the leaves. This was such a fast and easy card!

Don't be afraid to try different sized cards! Using different sizes can really "spice up" your cardmaking! Have a great day!

A Blast from the Past!

by Sue W.
Welcome!! I think we're experiencing technical difficulties today so I thought I'd re-post one of my Valentine posts from last year till we get today's post figured out! Thanks for stopping by!

January 3, 2009. My first post of the New Year has not been easy. I'm sure you've all had those days at the stamping table that nothing works? well, that was my day. I tell you all this because a) I really want the sympathy :) and 2: to share my "unblocker" with you all.

As I started my card, I was hoping to use a new DRS stamp (D213) that will be released in the next few days, and I wanted to use F298 with it. I also had a sketch I wanted to use, it was sounding pretty simple in my head cause I really liked the sketch, but unfortunately when it came to the execution, it was way off.

I won't bore you with the hours of struggling and frustration, but I was about to throw in the towel and admit defeat, when I remembered what has sometimes helped me in the past (not always, but usually). I asked myself what I'm NOT supposed to do ( I never know where this can lead). This time I went towards the very technical aspect of stamping: make sure you ink your stamp well, use the right amount of pressure, and of course when your stamp is on the paper be careful not to move it (except straight up off the paper). Well I threw all those rules out the window and started not inking the stamp well (turquoise dye ink), using very little pressure and I made sure every time I put the stamp on my paper I gave it a little turn as I picked it up. I also started overlaping (lavender dye ink) just for the heck of it. 30 seconds later had my background and all the pieces fell into place. Here's what she looks like:

Now to explain the rest - I stamped the heart stamp twice, once using cyan pigment ink and once with helitrope, and clear embossed both. I cut both out and then using a blade I cut through the word love in each stamping, so I could switch bottoms and adhered them to black paper that I cut slightly larger. I cut a square slightly smaller than 3 inches and using lavender and soft pink Vivid dye ink and a paper towel I added some color (pink top and bottom and lavender left and right. I layered this on a 3 inch black square. The inside square is slightly smaller than 2 1/2 inches and I did the same thing only instead of black paper I tapped the edges on a black stamp pad and when I mounted it I made sure the pink was on the opposite side of the larger layer. Then I took some turquoise dye ink and sponged over the whole thing.

The rectangle was easy, I used F298 which is one of our Stick 'n Stamps. What's that you ask??? It's a set of 4 small designs mounted on velcro. The stamps are designed to be cut apart so you can stamp each one individually. The mount is a little unusual too. It's about 4 inches long and 3/4" square. There's velcro on the square end and on one long side. The idea is to store all 4 images on the side strip and when you want to use one, you peel it off and mount it on the end. The other thing that I love about it is using it to make borders. You can line up all 4 on the "storage" velcro and stamp with it. When you run out of card, you can remove an image or two to make the stamp fit. I used the 2 middle designs for this card . I stamped the multiple hearts using Vivid turquoise ink, stamping straight and at angles over and over till my paper was covered. Then I changed to the single heart and lavender ink and did the same thing. Then once again I sponged turquoise ink over the whole thing. I then layered it with black paper and attached it to my background and added the squares and the hearts. The bling was the finishing touch!

Happy Valentines Day

I used one of the new releases Valentine Flower Heart for this card.  The main image was colored with markers, then tiny red rhinestones were applied to each of the flower centers.  The image was cut out and popped up with dimensionals on a cuttlebug embossed background.  I added a red border to make it pop.  I don't usually use white as the predominent color on my cards, but this one really works for me!

with a quick and easy treat! Not a candy or sweet treat, but a paper treat!! Most of us love to read but hate to lose our place and have to waste time searching for where we left off. Hence, the need for bookmarks! The new XL ribbon slide recently released by DRS is perfect for a such a "treat"!

Images by DRS Designs...

You could make a whole bunch of these...enough for a book club group, a class, a scout troop, etc...in less than 30 minutes!!

First gather your supplies...

Two ribbon slides, stamped in craft ink and heat embossed with clear powder, 2 giga scallop punches and two squares of black cut slightly larger than the giga punches, approx. 2 feet of ribbon and if desired, a small accessory for the middle of the slide.

Simply run the ends of the ribbon thru the ribbon slides, adhere edges with two sided tape, adhere to giga punch and then adhere the combo to your base (black) punch. I added a black adhesive pearl to the center of the ribbon running through the slide.

Voila!

I hope this easy idea inspires you. I would love to see your bookmark ideas. Feel free to post links in the comment section of this post so that you can inspire others!

Happy Valentines Day DRS Style!

>> Saturday, January 16, 2010

I LOVE this Valentine's Day Heart stamp from DRS. It is so simple and elegant and FUN to color all the little flowers!
This was an easy and simple card to make and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the layout! I used a sketch from SCS... they help me get "unstuck"and Lord knows... DRS always has a stamp that will work PERFECTLY with any sketch! This was the stamp that I chose... I colored the flowers with all different shades of pink Copic markers and then I put yellow stickles in the flower centers... (love my bling!) Next, I tied the ribbon around the front of the card and finished the sketch with the triangles of pink and black. Simple... but so pretty! And I think this card only took about 15 minutes to make... Quick and easy??? I LOVE IT!!!

For this card, I stamped this big XO and colored it with
copic markers. I added white gel pen for the highlights.I
stamped the heart background on white paper and used it for the background. The best part about DRS easy background stamps is
ALWAYS matching the ink, paper and ribbon that you are using in the rest of your card... EXACTLY. You never have to settle for "coming close" again! Then I layered the paper and added the ribbon and here is my card. I love the bright and fun colors and the polka dot ribbon is really FUN!!! So when you are getting ready to make your Valentines cards... Please check out the awesome images that DRS DESIGNS has available. Thanks for stopping by! Have a lovely day!

Three Wooden Crosses

>> Friday, January 15, 2010

I rarely make sympathy cards because it seems weird to me. I feel handmade cards should be cherished and who wants to keep a sympathy card?  (Not me!)  But, when my  family and close friends receive a store bought card from me they always make a comment about why I didn't make it, regardless of the occassion.  So, every now and then I will make a batch of sympathy cards to have on hand.  I never feel crafty enough after learning about someone's passing to whip one up when it's needed.

Here are 2 sympathy cards I've recently made using DRS Designs Triple Crosses (G510)

I always try to keep handmade sympathy cards simple. On each of these cards, the Triple Crosses image was stamped with brown ink and I used the masking technique to sponge the grass and sky areas around the crosses.  I paired the crosses with the sentiment "With Sympathy" (F687) on the card above.  I love it's simple and elegant design.  The sentiment on the card below is G598 Many Hearts of Sorrow.  I like this sentiment, becuase it is so true and it conveys the feeling of support for those left behind.

DRS Designs has a generous collection of stamps to help you create those extra special sympathy cards to have on hand when needed.  You can see all of their religious designs HERE and their sympathy sentiments HERE.

Thanks for visiting today & have a great weekend!

Ribbon Slide Colorblocks

>> Thursday, January 14, 2010

by Julie Warner- The Write Stuff

Happy Thursday! Before I get into Valentine's Day cards, I thought I'd catch up on some of my thank you cards. This was a fun card for several reasons. I get to show you a brand new Ribbon Slide (G141), I like these colors and I was able to use up some scraps (always a plus!).

For this card, I embossed the ribbon slide and cut it out using a square die. I used a craft knife to cut out the inside portion. I didn't have a ribbon the right color that was this wide, so I took some wide sheer ribbon and attached three narrow satin ribbons on top. I used Lots of Lines Background (H366) and ink colors close to the card stock colors for my color block background.

I used an embossing folder on the larger, two color background and die cut two corner elements out of the pink. The tag was first embossed with another embossing folder, then die cut with a circle die. I went over the letters with a chalk writer pen to highlight them.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you'll feel inspired to put a few of your scraps to good use!

XOXO for Your Sweetie!

>> Tuesday, January 12, 2010

By Debbie Seyer - A Peek Into My Stamping Room

Have you thought about what to make your Sweetie for Valentine's Day? Well, here is an idea using some cute new DRS releases!

I made a chipboard coaster box for his favorite chocolates and a matching card! Directions for making the chipboard coaster box can be found on Splitcoaststampers. The sentiment on the box is the Script Happy Valentine's Day (F357). I stamped it onto a Classic Heart Nestabilities in Tuxedo Black Memento ink. I mounted that onto a black Scalloped Heart Nestabilities and attached it all to the box using some really strong red-line tape. I stamped the OXXO stamp (G188) onto white cardstock using red ink. I cut the OXXO apart and attached it to the box as you can see in the above picture.

For the card, I stamped the Hugs & Kisses Valentine Greetings (G190) onto a piece of white cardstock. I cut/embossed the Classic Scalloped Frame from Spellbinders out of black cardstock and centered it over my sentiment. I stamped the OXXO stamp(G188) using red ink and cut it out whole this time.

I think my hubby will love this on Valentine's Day, if I can keep it hidden! LOL Be sure to check out all those great new releases for Valentine's day! They are wonderful!

Howdy!

I just LOVE this little country snowman!!  Especially his cute bandanna and the picture perfect farm scene in the background.  For the main image I sponged the sky with Ballet Blue SU ink, then colored the remaining elements with Copic markers.  For the sparkling snow I laid down a thin layer of liquid glue on the paper and covered it with the last of my irridescent glitter.... guess it's time to buy more because I use it all the time!  The letters along the bottom of the card spelling out the greeting are stickers that have a printed burlap look to them.  I echoed this look by stamping the top of the card with Mesh Background (H883) and overlapping the stamped images.

for next year!!! I have found that it is never to early to start preparing for the holiday season!! I would always think of holiday ideas in the summer and file them away, figuring I would "work" on these ideas during the holiday season. Big mistake!! In reality...if you have an idea, and you have the time...do it then!!!

So...here is an idea that you can work on now and have all ready to go next year...that way you can actually enjoy the holiday season without trying to cram it all in at once!!!

Images by DRS Designs...yesterday's release of this beautiful bootprints in the snow image makes making this project early super easy!!

I had a package of make your own beaded ornaments in my stash, that I have been wanting to make for quite a while. A few years have gone by since I purchased them but this image inspired me to bring them to life!!! The ornaments are by Nicole Crafts. I used a slot punch to attach the ornament to the card front.

A simple sentiment, some dazzling diamonds and some adhesive pearls finished things off. I hope you are enjoying the new releases...there truly is something for everyone!

One Stamp... 3 Different Techniques...and TIME TO SHOP!!!

By:
Dawn Knight
I LOVE getting new stamps. Especially this one... Tree with Snow (m114) one of DRS's New Releases... available for purchase January 9th...That's TODAY!!!
When I got my hands on this one... I knew what I was going to do.
I used different techniques and textures to show different seasons. The first one, I used a sponge to add the leaves and the grass. Then i used white glue and Flower Soft to add the texture and the look of flowers and leaves. This card would be great for spring OR summer. This was a quick card to make and I love the soft look of it. Perfect for that special person, male or female in your life...

For this card,I used vellum and copic markers. I colored on
the BACK of the vellum and then blended the colors with a blender pen made for the copic markers. Then I turned the paper over and stamped the image on the FRONT. I colored the tree and the fence with copic markers as well and then I used my die cuts to make the shapes. I mounted this on white cardstock to show off the background colors. This could be morning or evening...late fall...early winter before the snow flies...ANYTHING!!!How is that for variety? and I am not even DONE yet!!! I have one more card and season to go!
For this card, I stamped the image on white cardstock.Next, I sponged the background and the edges, I added the sun and THEN came the snow!!! I used liquid applique for texture and dimension and then I added stickles for the glimmering snow effect that is coming from the gorgeous bright sun! I used a glitter pen on the fence wires to make it look like snow fell on them as well.I adhered this to an embossed paper that I also sponged and here is the winter card. I LOVE the versatility that this stamp offers. It could be used for a varitey of occasions as well... This is a must have for every stampers collection! I guarntee this will see TONS of ink! Thanks so much for stopping by and remember that all of the fantastic new releases will be available for purchase of the DRS website beginning January 9th... TODAY!!!

...in the hopes of cheering up your Winter blues!

Don't forget, DRS Designs has another great round of stamps that will be available for purchase starting tomorrow.  You can see all of the new releases HERE as soon as they become available.  This Snow Mama is one of the stamps that will be released.  I colored her with Copic markers, and added a touch of Stickles to the Snowflake on her hat.  I also added some pink to her cheeks and a few freckles.  Isn't she adorable?!?!  I paired her with the "Sending you a smile..." (D289) sentiment.  This stamp combo is bound to cheer anyone up!

Well, I hope your Winter is a bit warmer and better than ours is right now in Michigan.  We just received about 5 inches of fresh snow yesterday and the high temperature over the last few days has been about 20 degrees!   If weather conditions like that don't give you the blues, then you must be a penguin! LOL!

Brrrr!
Smiles,
Jennifer

>> Thursday, January 7, 2010

by Julie Warner - The Write Stuff

The forecast for Atlanta calls for a chance of snow! We don't get a lot of snow here, so it's a big deal to us. So this is what I'm hoping my Winter Eve will look like. Isn't this a great image? I love scenes so this Sneak Peek is right up my alley.

I knew I wanted a circular frame and a little bit of the out-of-the-box treatment, so I figured out where my image needed to be and stamped the soon to be released Tree with Snow (M144), masking off the fence portion. I kept the circle frame mask on, added a smaller circle mask for the moon and sponged on the sky colors.

I used the blank embossing technique to emboss the flurries pattern on the side and leave the image area smooth. I used a circle die set to cut the pink frame and a template to cut the blue frame. I added the cut out portion of the fence on top. Stickles was added to the snow and a die cut sentiment finished it off.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Happy New Year!

Love Is.......

By Debbie Seyer - A Peek Into My Stamping Room

the new releases from DRS Designs! Today I am showing you my favorite one of the whole bunch. Don't get me wrong they are all good but this one is just "IT" for me! A few months ago, I suggested to Sue that a text stamp would be great, maybe something for Valentine's Day. This is what she came up with and I love it!

To make my card, I stamped the Love Is... text twice onto some vanilla cardstock. I then tore and inked the edges. Then I stamped the Hearts and Scrolls (G271) a few times using the technique called Stamping Off. That means I inked up the stamp, stamped onto a piece of scratch paper and then stamped onto my cardstock. I also stamped the Hearts and Scrolls (G271) image onto the base of the card, too. The butterfly is a piece of chipboard that I inked up and coated with stickles.

Here is another card using the same Love Is... stamp

I think this card would be great as a Wedding or Anniversary card, don't you? This is only one of the new releases that DRS Designs has planned. Be sure to check out everyone's post this week to see some more!
