Turkey Propaganda!
>> Tuesday, November 9, 2010
Have you seen all of DRS Designs new Fall stamps? Many of them are perfect for Making Thanksgiving cards. I've been playing with them and recently created this funny Thanksgiving card.
If turkey's could talk, can you imagine them telling you this as you begin your Thanksgiving dinner preparations? LOL!
I colored this fun Poultry Propaganda stamp (499H) with Copic Markers. For the card front I simply used orange cardstock and distressed the edges with Vintage photo distressing ink. Over the area where I knew I wanted to place the matted image, I stamped the Thanksgiving Arc (050E) in dark brown ink. I further decorated the card front using a decorative border punch, an embossing folder, grosgrain ribbon, and 4 clear rhinestones that I also colored with Copic Markers to match.
I hope you're all looking forward to Thanksgiving as much as I am! I love spending the holidays with family, and yes unfortunately for this turkey, I will be having turkey as part of my Thanksgiving Day feast! LOL!
Thanks for stopping by!
Smiles,
Jennifer
