Harvest Moon

Hello!
It's Jennifer posting here for you today, and I'm showing off a Fall card I made using DRS Designs new Fall stamps.
The technique I used to create the scene can be found here.
I made my own landscape stencil by cutting a wavy pattern on a piece of scrap paper. I sponged Creamy Brown Chalk ink along the edge of the stencil to create the rolling hills at the ground line in several spots. Next, I used a circle mask for the moon and sponged the sky with SU! Ballet Blue ink. I used the reverse mask for the moon and sponged that area with SU! So Saffron ink.
I stamped the Single Fall Tree (468F) in SU! Chocolate Chip in 3 random spots so they were scattered along the rolling hills. I added Autumn leaves by simply using Copic Markers to add different colored dots along the branches and along the bottom of each tree. The Shine On Harvest Moon Greeting (470D) was stamped in the bottom right corner also with SU! Chocolate Chip ink.
I matted this card front on a brown cardstock base, added a small bow made from brown grosgrain ribbon in the upper right corner, a band of the same ribbon in the botton left corner, and finally this card was complete! I hope you enjoyed today's post and the new Fall stamps from DRS Designs. Stay tuned, as the new December release is just around the corner and you won't want to miss all the sneak peeks!
Hope you all have a wonderful day!
Smiles,
Jennifer
