Yay - Its RELEASE DAY!!

>> Saturday, July 10, 2010

Happy Saturday everyone... Jenny here!! What a great day cause today is RELEASE DAY... WOO HOO!!! Be sure to go to the main page and check out all the new releases and I have 2 stamps from the new release on my card to share with you today.

My card today is stamped with Lily Sympathy Cross and Heartfelt Condolences. I also love to use some elements from stamps, not always the whole stamp, so here I also used the butterfly from Flyaway Butterfly and a branch from Four Flower Background on the second version. I stamped the cross, butterfly and sentiment with versamark then used white embossing powder and heated.

I photographed my card and then thought it just needed more. So here I have two versions for you, the second being my finished card. Let me know which you like best.

Version one - no branches

Version two - with branches from Four Flower Background stamped with Versamark.

What do you think? I think the branches add that little something extra :)

for the full recipe, please visit my blog.

And while your there be sure to check out my DRS Designs post from Thursday using the super cute Frog Boy stamp... hes so cute!

Hope you are having a wonderful weekend!!

Thanks for stopping by!! :) :) :)

Your card is a beauty...So elegant. I am a huge fan of versamark on a kraft background, it does add that certain somethin'!

The first card is nice but the branches add that special touch in the second. I love using Versamrk to make backgrounds like that.

They're both beautiful but I really like the little extra on the second one. Awesome job!

White embossing on vellum is just too gorgeous! I like the second card best - the subtle branch stamp adds that little something extra that makes it perfect.
