Think Spring!

I know it has been a very long winter in my neck of the woods, and now that March is here, it feels so good to "Think Spring," doesn't it?  That's exactly what I had in mind as I put together today's card. 

This Praying Bunny (L407) image by DRS Designs is just too sweet!   From all of their Easter designs, I think this is one of my favorites!  (Although, I am partial to daffodils as well!)

 I love coloring and shading on my images to make them come to life, and this one was no exception--It was a lot of fun to color!  I colored it with Copic Markers and used Prismacolor Pencils to shade the background.  The layout I used follows this weeks Splitcoast Stampers Card Sketch challenge.  I added some texture by running the darker yellow panel through the Cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots Embossing Folder.  I used a sentiment from DRS Designs' latest release, stamped in regular black ink.  I love how it's perfect for just about any occasion!
