I absolutely love how the sky came out on this image. I decided to let this image take center stage on the card.
For the card:
I thought it is about time I work on a few Halloween cards. For this card I thought it would be fun to create a candy corn shaped card.
I love cute Halloween cards, but today I have something on the spookier side.
I used one of the Tim Holtz dolls and blacked out his eyes. My daugher said he reminds her of the elevator man in Tower of Terror. I drew in a little stitch on his chin too and roughed him up a bit.
The top panel features the new Halloween Crow/Witch Frame and the Beware of Zombies Sign. the background has the Spooky Eyes Background. I did a clear embossing powder on my base panel after sponging on versamark through a scrip stencil.Today's 5 cards all came from the same ink/spray/smash watercolor page that I made. Once the panel was done, I cut it up and then did water color stamping (ink up your image with distress ink, spray with water and then stamp).
On this first card, I stamped the Open Leaf and the Script Font Background. I added on the Hayrides Harvest Greeting splashed with the same colors.
Hi Everyone,
With September starting tomorrow, fall will be here before we know it, and in my house, Halloween is the kick off to the holiday season. I've extoled my love of candy corn previously here on the blog, and next to candy, stamping is my another of my favorite things for the holidays.
This first monochromatic card features the new Halloween Crow/Witch Frame, which was stamped, heat embossed and die cut using a rectangle die. I layered it all up using dimensional foam tape and attached it to the card base stamped using the Accent Bats. A simple strip of black glitter finished it off.
Good morning!
Time for some Halloween cards!!
Today I have 2 fun cards for all you Harry Potter or Wizard of Oz
fans...lots of magic spells and witch's brews. Yikes, scary!
I love Halloween (the day before my birthday) AND gnomes, so I was super excited about this new Witch Gnome image being released this week.
Isn't the new Halloween Gnome Greeting fun a well?
I made my background panels using vellum, scribbling on some alcohol markers, adding some rubbing alcohol, and splatters of ink and alcohol untill it looked magical enough.
Head on over to the DRS Designs Store and see the other new Halloween images.
Hugz,
Nancy

You all probably know how much I love ghost related cards, so I am so thrilled that DRS came out with two new ghosts. I see using these ghosts a lot on my haunted places scrapbook pages!
My first card uses the 3 in 1 Silhouette Halloween Tree, Spirit of Halloween Greeting and the Leaning Ghost. It is a super easy card made with an Ink/Spray/Smash background.
Welcome!!
