Welcome!
Are you ready for Easter??? I still have a few things left to do, but I'm sure it will all come together in the end! I probably shouldn't have spent the evening working on this card, but I was having fun and it was so quiet and peaceful.....
These are the stamps I used for my card. ( Note: stamp M385 - I only used the tiniest of the butterfly's)

and here's my card - (This card has been on my mind since I first thought of doing a silhouette fence. There were several things I had to fine tune, but I'm happy with how it turned out)
After applying jewels to either side of my greeting I also adhered one to the center of each flower.
Thanks for stopping by, I'll leave you with our latest -

My Tip: When cutting out a shape like my flowers above, I can hide any imperfect cutting by going around the outside edge with a gray marker.
Your Trick: by Stef H. - Do you know.... if you have any adhesive sticking out of your work (some of us get a little sloppy here) just dab some baby powder on it and the sticky is gone!
Thanks Stef! Okay folks keep those tips and tricks rolling in by writing to submitdrs@yahoo.com Remember we're offering blog candy once we use your tip!
Happy Easter!

Gorgeous card, Sue! Love the colors on those flowers and your cutting out tip! I guess you know how hard it is to keep just a smidgeon outside the image for that "finished" look! And thanks for using my tip!
Happy Easter!
Hugs,
Cool card...aren't jewels fun?!!!
Great springy card Sue. Awesome tip about the gray marker, that will help me bunches!! The adhesive tip should come in handy also.
This is just beautiful! You used some of my favorite stamps! Great tips!!! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Oh now that's gorgeous! Love how you put all these images together to create one fab card!! ;)
What a pretty card!! I love the colors you chose for the flowers. It all came together so nicely - TFS!
Beautiful Spring card, Sue! I love this new picket fence image and the DRS butterflies are frequent flyers in my stamping projects!!
Awesome job with this card, Sue! I love how you created the scene! The flowers along the picket fence are a great idea!!
