Tags of Fall

For today's post, I made to two tags/cards.  One to celebrate Fall and one to celebrate the Zombie Invasion at DRS Designs.

To make the tag, I started this out by stamping the Oval Stained Glass (because I don't have the Large Stained Glass stamp but it is on my wish list) in SU! Crumb Cake. I had to get rid of the oval lines so covered the tag in various distress inks.  To cover up the remaining lines, I stamped an Open Leaf, fussy cut it, and used the surrounding paper to make a stencil.  I sponged some leaves all around using distress inks. I splashed the tag with water and then let it dry. 

Next, I sponged and fussy cut a number of leaves and combined them with a fall stem I had laying around.  I added a few splatters of white paint mixed with glitter to give the card a little icy feel.     

I had so much fun making the tag, that I decided to keep going and make a spooky tag.  This time I sponged on some green and blue distress inks and then stamped the new Ghoul Times Greeting in SU! Crumb Cake multiple times.  My spacing was off so I sponged on some orange distress inks to cover the words a bit.  Then I stamped the Mummy and the new Zombie Guy images, fussy cut them, and then did some switching of heads (lol).  I placed the new Beware of Zombies Sign image in the monster's hand for fun.  To make the bg panel, I stamped on the new Grim Reaper.
