Happy Friday!
I hope your week has gone well! Hopefully by today, we will have had a cool front come thru..because I tell you, this past week has surely felt like summer! Usually by Halloween we have had our first freeze but we haven't even approached refrigeration yet. So maybe if I think cold thoughts & make a Christmas card, it might help. Or not. But it won't hurt.

Today, I'm showing off a brand new Pinecone image. Isn't it wonderful? When I saw it, I just had a picture in my head of it hanging like an ornament so that's the direction I went. The pinecone was stamped, colored w/ Copics & fussy cut. Then I die cut a large white panel, cut out the arched window & cut another arch (using 2 sizes of the same die set) to make a frame. I stamped the Merry Christmas Arc on the frame (I cut the image apart to make it easier). On the leftover arched piece & also on the leftover large frame, I used the Woven Plaid stamp (the cut apart version), & the 3 colors of Distress inks. I went back I embossed the white layer w/ a snowfall folder before I put it all together & I also added a little die cut holly for the hanging part of the pinecone.
Here's a look at the inside. (I masked off the center to add the plaid around the edges.) Below it are the Copics I used.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend!
