Another Christmas Village

>> Monday, August 4, 2014

Even though it is August, I just can't seem to stop playing with these new Christmas Village Stamps! They are just so fun. Today's card features the Village Garage, Post Office and Betty's Craft Store! I started by stamping each village building, then masking them to stamp the snow lines and pine trees. Everything was colored with Copics. Some stickles were added to the snow lines and I used a Recollections opaque white white to put the snow on the trees. The sentiment is part of the Merry and Bright Greeting and was added after the blue ribbon. Some navy ink was sponged in for the sky.

This week's challenge is to use rubber bands to stamp your background. You can see details here. It's a fun way to create some unique backgrounds. We'd love to have you join the fun!

Thanks for stopping by today,
shelia

Might be another Christmas village, but how you arranged the trees and buildings to make it look hilly is great! That sky looks so real! Nice job!
