by Julie Warner - The Write Stuff

Happy Friday!
I hope your week has gone well! It's been kind of a weird week around here. Lots of irritating stuff. I hate it when they come in bunches like that. First, my hubby's plant watering system for the potted plants, sprang 2 big geyser leaks. Turns out the squirrels chewed the ends off of the little hoses. Then my parrots were sitting on their window perches looking out on the back yard and something spooked them. Actually, sometimes they scare themselves, lol. One of them nearly knocked himself out when a wall sprang up out of nowhere. Thank goodness he just gave up and landed on the floor. Then the post office returned a pkg I mailed to DRS Designs. They put a bar code sticker on it w/ MY zip code instead of the correct one. So exactly one week after I mailed, it came back. Jiminy Cricket! (I'm paraphrasing...those were not my exact words.) I told Sue, I'm never going to mail myself anything...it takes too long! I'm so ready for the weekend!

So I'm just going to chill with a little Christmas card. I actually made this for last week, but when I saw Robin and I had apparently been on the same wave length, I pushed it back a week. It looked like we had been stamping together...which is weird because she lives on one side of the country and I live on the other. I stamped the pine tree snowdrifts across the top, and the vertical triple trees a little to the right of center. I added the house twice and a snowman & 1 tree (from 4 in 1 Christmas Village). Colored everything with Copics, then added a little sparkly snow with some glitter glue. The  Christmas fence was fussy cut and added on top. The greeting was stamped inside just the border from the Handmade Fragile image and die cut along with the top & bottom borders of the blue layer. The finished card is 4.25 x 5.50 and these are the Copics I used.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Be sure to check out our DRS Thurs Challenge! It's a Color Challenge so be sure to enter!Have a great weekend!

Supplies:
paper: white, cornflower blue
ink: Memento tuxedo black
accessories: Copic markers, Stickles glitter glue, Spellbinders labels 16 & bracket border dies.

This is such a beautiful card, Julie with the red, green and blue color combo. I love how you used the fence on this. I thought about adding a fence to one of my scenes, but just didn't think it would work. I see now that it works perfectly!!!!!
