Outlining Fun!

Happy Wednesday!

I have a fun card to share with you today!  As I struggled to make a card yesterday I tried outlining an embossed image (which didn't work :) but it gave me the idea to try this one today!

After embossing a white piece of card stock I used a fine point pink and orange pen (InkJoy by Papermate) to add the outline color inside each diamond in alternating rows.  It ended up being relatively simple, just a bit time consuming outlining all those pesky diamonds - I learned that a light touch was the key.  After that the rest was easy - I stamped our Cheerful Smiles Sentiment using purple ink and die cut it in the circle.  Before I removed it from the die I traced the inside of that circle with the pink pen as well and gave it a light pink sponging that's hard to see in the photo.  I stamped our Single Flying Butterfly, colored it using a couple of markers and fussy cut it.  A few jewels added and I was good to go :)

Thanks for visiting us today!  Just a reminder - you have till 6pm to enter this weeks challenge!
