Peaceful Waters and Comfort

>> Wednesday, March 25, 2020

Hello crafty friends.

I am still cranking out bible journaling pages.  I did this Psalms 72 page focusing on the peaceful parts of the Psalm - Spring showers that water the earth... these words calm me.

I started with the DRS Designs Village Rocks/Pond's Edge.  I masked it to get it across the whole bottom of my page.  After I stamped it, I colored it up with some reinkers.  Next I added some stencils (the sun ray is from Tim Holtz and the letters and crosses are from Magenta).  I finished it off with a hand drawn edging.

I haven't used te Village Rocks/Pond's Edge stamp very much, but I loved using it on this page and have moved it up in my favorite's list.

One more thing to share.  I tried drawing a dog this weekend.  I know it isn't the best,  the nose is not lined up correctly and the right eye is not placed correctly, but I still love it.  I did it for the Teapot Tuesday challenge last week which is to send cards to a sweet lady facing a battle with cancer. She loves Yorkies.
I used part of the Condolences greeting - I thought the first 4 words were positive enough to use on this card.

Hope you are staying well and crafting away.

Hugz,

Nancy

Gasp! That doggie is just incredible! Looks perfect to me, cuz I wouldn’t be able to even draw the lines framing it! Great journal page too!
