Skullduggery!

Happy Friday!
I hope your week has gone well! And I hope you weren't in the path of Hurricane Michael! We had a few inches of rain & some windy conditions but nothing too bad. Seems wherever the storms hit this year, we're getting a piece of it here. Not something you expect living in the mountains so far north in the state.
Skullduggery..isn't that a super word for Halloween? And I thought it went well with my skulls. On this first one, I stamped it on white, then used a Copic multiliner pen to draw all the patterns before coloring them in. I used a white paint pen to add more teeth & some white dots. The spider web was stamped multiple times on the black using persimmon oxide ink. Love how it gives it a spooky glow.
Supplies:
stamps: DRS Designs -  Scary Skull It’s a ScreamEmpty Spider Web (inside: Deco Halloween Greetings )
paper:  Staples 110# white, black, X-Press It white
ink:  Memento tuxedo black, Distress oxide ink ripe persimmon
accessories:  Copic markers, Copic multiliner pen, ODBD pierced rectangles & pierced circles dies, Sizzix ornate labels & mini skull dies
Now this skull was stamped & I used a flower image to mask & stamp all the flowers before coloring them. For some reason, a little of the orange & red bled into the white areas so I ended up fussy cutting all of the white areas out. That must have been the trick part of the trick or treat. The iron fence was stamped across multiple layers & I had to put them all in the Misti to accomplish this. I used a little temporary tape to hold the layer together, stamped them, then carefully removed the orange layer to stamp the fence again on the white. Otherwise, I don't think I could have lined them up so well.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

Wow Julie, these are both amazing Halloween cards! Love the design & details on these. Those spider webs on the first look so good behind that fabulous skull. And these have to be two of the prettiest skulls I've ever seen! 😊

These are both amazing Julie! Love how colorful your skulls are, but I'm completely floored that you cut out the flowers inside the skull and then did the 3 layer stamping! Long live the Queen!!!
