Be Scary!

Happy Friday!
I hope your week has gone well! Yay! October is here! So where are all the fall colors & cooler temps? I saw the weather this morning & it hit 90 in Atlanta yesterday. First time since 1954 for a 90 degree temp in Oct. Ouch! It wasn't near that temp here, but it still feels like the beginning of Sept vs the beginning of Oct. It better cool off or all the little trick or treaters are going to being sweating like crazy in their costumes.

I have a scary fun card today. I saw a greeting similar to this & thought hmmm..I can do that! It took a little finagling w/ the letters from a couple of word set dies, but I did it.  Before I die cut the letters, I embossed them w/ a sparkly black powder. I did the same to part of the feather & the mask. The mask is actually a large mustache punch turned upside down, lol. I cut two holes for the eyes & it became a mask. I know..as if the skull wasn't scary enough, now he's got a mask. The black grid bg is a leftover where I took drywall mesh & went over it w/ white paint, then removed the mesh.
Here's a look at the inside.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

Wow - I never thought I would need a mustache punch until now! This looks fab, Julie. He/she would definitely be at home in New Orleans or Mobile. Love the way you did his/her eyes and your drywall tape technique bg is awesome. Fun card. Hugz

You come up with the BEST ideas!! The mask definitely brings the skull to a new level of creepy and it's ingenious that you used a mustache to do it! Great job changing up the greeting and your awesome background!
