Time To Celebrate

>> Thursday, June 28, 2018

Good morning!
The 4th of July is coming up quickly so I thought I'd
better get on the stick and make some cards!
Believe it or not, these flags are on toothpicks made to stick in some party finger foods.  Of course that is not why I bought them!  I have a bag full in my crafty stash.
I used a center step card as the format using DRS stamps: Interlocking Star Background 819H, God Bless America 085D
The star dies are from ODBD and the Circle dies from MFT.
I used some nailhead stickers around the circle and some glittery silver dot stickers on the star background and on the star cut outs.

My next card is a combo of ribbons, die cuts and DRS stamps:

The circle dies are from ODBD and it is full of different patriotic
ribbons and then the tight side has a wide red, white and blue ribbon on a strip of red card stock.  I used a blue glitter pen to fill in the tops of USA and a red ball point pen to fill in the stripes. The star background is stamped with red Memento Ink.
Thanks for visiting today!
Have a great weekend!  Since the 4th is on a Wednesday I think some people are using this weekend and some next weekend to combine with it to make a nice long holiday weekend so whatever you do, be safe and have fun!

Super cool Patriotic cards, Robin. The card with the flags is so fun! Those flags are great to have in your stash and can work with food or paper crafts. Great use of images and fun extra details on both cards. I love how you think! Super creative and fun.

Wonderful cards Robin! Just perfect for the 4th! Love all the stars and stripes! I will admit that the first thing to come into my mind when seeing your toothpick flags was cupcakes, but I guess they can work for other foods as well ;)

Eeek! I was just going to make some patriotic cards and these are some crazy beautiful inspiration! I love the little flag embellishments along with the stamped stars patterned paper you made. Love the circle of ribbons on the second card; it's such a cool idea!
