Star Wish

 Happy Friday!
I hope your week has gone well! And I hope your weather has been drier than ours. At this rate, we're gonna need a bigger boat, lol. More like an ark. Before that tropical system dumped inches & inches of rain on us, we'd already had over a week of rainy days. The normally tame creek behind our house now sounds like a roaring waterfall & you need galoshes to cross the front yard.

So the wish I'm making on these stars is for a few dry days. To make my card, I started by die cutting the circle out then making a watercolor bg on it & splattering it w/ white paint. I put it back together & put the whole front panel into my Misti & I had to stamp the silhouette trees several times to get them dark enough. Part of the greeting was added & a die cut Wish. I used a white marker to fill in the moon & add the sparkling lines to the "stars". A little Wink of Stella was added to the moon & stars, as well.
Here's a look at the inside.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

Awesome card, Julie. Your background is so beautiful - I love what you did with the stars and clouds. The big wish die cut is perfect too. A wonderfully done card and I love it!!! Hope you get your wish soon!

Beautiful card, Julie. Love the soft watercolor background, those trees really stand out on it. Great idea to die cut the wish part of the greeting. Hope the rain ends soon for you. We haven't had too much rain, just heat. Been in the 90s all week. A tad warm for the month of May. But it's better than snow! 😜
