Happy Happy Day

Good morning!

I made this to be a kind of "from all of us"
type card...this looks like such a cute group shot!

I used some Lime Brilliance sponged on the outside and then Walnut ink on just the outer edges and corners. Some square and stitched square dies for the image panel and frame and popped up the frame, this card was very simple to make.

My next card was for a challenge on SplitCoastStampers called an Inspiration challenge and the hostess was none other than our Julie Warner!!
I had picked a picture with a porthole in it...I have a thing for portholes!
I used the DRS Wood Grain Background 626P for the porthole and the popped it up and added copper nailhead 3D stickers to it (I used some circle dies to cut it out).  I stamped the DRS Sailboat 887F on white and colored with Copics then sponged the background with Blue Distress Ink.  It's cut out with a circle die and placed inside the porthole.
For the background white panel I stamped the DRS sentiment, Happy Happy Happy Day 864G on first then ran it through my die cutting machine with a Sizzix Tim Holtz nautical folder.  Finally, the pennant banner (die by ODBD) was stamped with DRS Large Original Plaid 641P and then die cut in a blue, white and a red then cut apart to make the different color pennant flags.
I used red and white baker's twine to make bows for the ends.

Thanks for visiting today!
Have a great crafty weekend

Great cards, Robin. I like how you stamped your greeting on the first one. Your port hole is amazing on the second card. It really mails your scene pop. Love it!
