Just My Sentiments

>> Sunday, May 6, 2018

I have two fun sentiment cards to share with you today.  I started each card by taking some green water color and washing it across some regular paper quickly. Then I did the same with blue.  I was trying to get a little beach or water look.

On the first card, I splashed on some pink, orange, red and white globs of water color by aggressively flecking my brush.  I used my heat gun to dry the paper in between colors.  When it was all dry, I stamped the Brush Happy Birthday Greeting (my favorite birthday greeting in my stamp collection). I used my MISTI so I could stamp it several times to ensure it covered over all that water color.

I think the paint colors give it a festive look which works well for a birthday.
For my next card, all I did was add a bit of tan.  I wanted it to really look like a water card as I am giving to my preacher today.  He loves the water, and he lost his Father this week.  I stamped the Brush in Deepest Sympathy.
Hope you have an awesome Sunday!

Hugz,

Nancy
