Happy Birthday!

Good morning!
In our family April and May are full of birthdays
so I thought I'd do a birthday card today.
For this card I used DRS stamps: 451L Birthday Candle Burst,
My border at the bottom was done with the Spellbinders curved border set.
My embellishments are 2 little enamel stars.
This is a bright colorful birthday card sure to bring a smile!
This card is using a sketch from SplitCoastStampers
I used DRS stamps: Lighthouse 461G and Picture Perfect Day 084E
I penciled in the horizon and a shore line
so that I could add some Liquid Pearls white and glitter to the shore.
I used pierced rectangle dies from ODBD and 3 enamel hearts for embellishments.
This card makes you want to take a walk through the sand and put your
toes in the ocean doesn't it? I love the sound of waves crashing on the shore
or on a rocky cliff. What a wonderful sound!

Two totally awesome cards, Robin. I love that cake card - so fun and festive and colorful. The lighthouse/beach card is totally fab with that cool shore you drew in and that fun foam/sand you made. Totally impressive - I am going to try that technique. I also love how your sky colors match up with that strip running across. So cool. Hugz
What beautiful cards Robin! So different but both incredible! Your birthday card would make turning older a bit easier (well... maybe :) with your bright colors and that fun splattered swoop. Your shoreline on the lighthouse is phenomenal and the orange ribbon really draws the eye to your wonderful sunrise!
I'm not picking a favorite out of these two cards, that's for sure! I love them both..for very different reasons :) Nice job, Robin!
What a fun and festive birthday card! I love the colors you chose for the multi colored scalloped swoop :) Great ocean scene too! Your sky is amazing and I do want to walk that island shore!
