Dress Up Pigs

Happy Friday!
I hope your week has gone well! Is it any warmer where you are? After a chilly start, we've  had a little warm up. At least until this weekend. Then cooler again. Don't you just love how spring is teasing us this year?

Anyway, I have a fun card today using Leonard Pig. Actually, original Leonard is now Mrs. Pig on the right & Mr. Pig is a mirror image on the left. And after coloring & fussy cutting them, I made little checked outfits for them. I just drew them in the shape of a vest & a dress then used a black sharpie to do the checks on them.  I used a little bow tie die for Mr. Pig & then trimmed it to make the bows for Mrs. Pig. The greeting was finagled a bit to fit between them.
The checkerboard bg was fun to do. I put the image into my Misti & stamped it across the bottom 2 or 3 times to get it really dark. I moved the turquoise panel down & did the mid section a little lighter. Moved it down again & stamped the top w/o reinking it.

Here's a look at the inside & below it are the Copics I used.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend!
