Shine Bright

Happy Friday!
I hope your week has gone well! After I saw the Technique Challenge (TLC680) on Splitcoast (to make a dark to light gradient background), I had this idea to white emboss the Checkerboard Bg & do an emboss resist over it by sponging Distress inks. I like the bright colors and gradient effect going from one to the next. When I finishedI die cut it & a very narrow black layer inserted between the 2 cut layers before putting them back together.
I split the greeting up to add the die cut Shine in the center. This die cut word was heat embossed w/ red glitter powder to make it sparkle & shine. I popped up the greeting panel to give it some dimension. Here's the inside.
Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

Supplies:
paper: Staples 110# white, black
ink: Memento tuxedo black,Colorbox frost white pigment, Distress inks worn lipstick, squeezed lemonade, fired brick, twisted citron, cracked pistachio, peacock feathers, salty ocean
accessories: Lil' Inker stitched rectangles, Momento shine die, clear embossing powder, red glitter embossing powder, sequins
