Easter Hope

>> Thursday, March 29, 2018

Good morning!

For this card I used DRS stamps: Lily Cross Easter Blessing 586G and Lily Sympathy Cross 314L
The die cut frame is from Memory Box

The cutie little Easter card has a background done with
an embossing folder which had been swiped with yellow ink
before running through the die cutting machine.
I fussy cut all the eggs (except the one being painted, that is a die cut), and the bunny,  I used a 1/2 circle die for the basket and used the Open Plaid on it.
The sentiment was cut into 2 pieces and fish tail ends cut.

This last card has the decorative Welcome Oval 564H stamped all over a piece of tissue in Easter colors then glued to card stock scrunching it up some.  Run VersaMark over it then emboss with gold to make the background piece.
Cut a scalloped oval (Spellbinders) and stamp Easter Greetings 571F on it with pink.
Fill an oval acetate bubble with Easter colored crystals and glue the oval
on top to seal for the shaker part of the card.
Stamp the Welcome Oval using pink ink on white and die cut then use VersaMark on the edges and emboss with gold.  Stamp and emboss Three Wooden Crosses 1116K  then cut out center cross to use on oval.  Die cut Hope from pink paper and add to Welcome Oval then glue 3 white and gold roses over bottom part of cross.

Thanks for visiting today and Happy Easter!!

Robin, each of these is very special. Great dies, bg techniques, images, and colors. Hard to pick a favorite but your last is so full of great details that it is hard not to pick it. I have never heard of an acetate bubble, but it looks fabulous. All are so well done and so appropriate for Easter. Many hugz and I hope you have a wonderful Easter!

Amazing Easter cards Robin! Each has a very cool and unique background - and your normal awesome coloring/shading! I just can't keep from checking our the dotted background on the first card and thinking I'd never have the patience to do that :) Love the stacked eggs in the basket (but I really want to do a wheelbarrow for next time :) and your jewels in the shaker card!

Oh my stars!!!! Fun and gorgeous all around and I can't pick a favorite! That shaker card is just remarkable, what with all the different stamps and design elements. The bunny designs is fun, I love the stack of eggs...and the cross is colored up so perfectly!
