Easter Greetings

>> Monday, March 26, 2018

With Easter fast approaching, I thought I'd share a couple more cards for the occasion. My first card features the new Deco Easter Greeting which was stamped with Versafine Black ink onto the peachy pink CS that was then embossed with a small flower EF. The window arch was die cut from White CS and layered on top of some water color paper that was colored with several Distress Oxide inks. Everything was layered onto a white card base and some clear Nuvo drops were added around the greeting.

To create this card I started with water color paper and sponged on the sun's rays with TH Distress Oxide inks using a TH stencil. Once it dried I glued it onto the purple panel and added the small cross that was stamped, colored and fussy cut. The new Decorated with Love Easter greeting was stamped with Versafine Black ink onto the gold CS and layered under the sun's rays. Some dots were added with clear Nuvo drops to complete the look.

Thanks for stopping by today and have a blessed Easter this weekend!

blessings,
shelia

Beautiful colors and cards, Sheila. I love the half circle theme of both and how different they are. Super Easter cards with lots of great details and designs. Hugz

2 wonderful cards Shelia! I LOVE your window arch and your watercolor paper behind is beautiful! Your cross card is absolutely perfect for Easter - those sun rays just grab all the attention and then lead your right to the cross! Awesome!
