Merry Christmas!

>> Sunday, December 3, 2017

Good morning!

Yes, it's me again!  Today I have this WONDERFUL pine cone.  Everyone always says how real it looks, thanks DRS for your fantastic designs!!

I used Pine Bough 467K inside the circle window using green ink. The Pinecone with Bow 1001G colored and cut out and 1 Line Merry Christmas 364B die cut.
My background was circle cut and then embossed with a snow folder from Sizzix.  I cut a circle frame with MFT stitched circle dies. I embossed a 1/2" strip of tan with a We R Memory Makers wood grain folder, rubbed it with Tea Stain Ink and added green borders.
I used some snow texture on the cone and glitter as well then I added some glitter to the pine bough area and stuck the cone on with foam tape.
Thanks for visiting today!

WOW! This card is a real winter beauty! Your coloring makes the pine cone look real and I love the "wood" strip along the side!

Absolutely Gorgeous Robin!!! You did an amazing job coloring the pinecone - I can practically smell the pine and feel the sticky sap :) I love the simplicity of the rest of the card too - really shows off the pinecone!
